Mr Reddy graduated from Kurnool Medical College A P in 1978. He obtained M S in ENT from PGIMER in 1981, trained by the Late Professor Mehra. In 1982, he migrated to the UK to broaden his experience.
Mr Reddy has worked in various surgical specialities including Plastic Surgery for 4 years, during which he obtain the FRCS (General Surgery). He had his Higher Surgical Training in Otolaryngology in the world renowned Royal National Throat Nose Ear hospital, London and was trained by eminent surgeons including Tony Cheesman, Navneeth Shah and Martin Bailey. He also had specialist training in Facial Plastic Surgery by Tony Bull (Founder President of European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery).
In 1995, Mr Reddy was appointed as a consultant otolaryngologist at the North Cheshire Hospitals. He has keen interest in training Higher Surgical Trainees in Facial Plastic Surgery. For the last 13 years, he has been organising Multi-disciplinary Facial Plastics courses and hands-on work shops in facial flaps in collaboration with his colleague Sucha Hampal.
Mr Reddy is a member of European and American Academy of facial Plastic surgery. He is a member of local clinical governance committee, regional training committee, Examiner for the Liverpool Medical University and Advisory appointment committee for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Mr Reddy has presented and published a number of research and audit projects in various international meetings and Journals. He has conducted a number of work shops in Facial Plastic surgery around the world.
Mr Reddy has an ambition to spend more time in India and help the next generation of surgeons to take the speciality of Facial Plastic Surgery to further heights. |
